  1. Very Zen. In spite of obstacles, you focus on the moment. The past can’t be changed and the future is only a promise. Now is all we can truly be certain of.

    • It is a practice of course. That said, I am rarely caught up in the past, and have few expectations for the future. Dreams I work toward, but at this time I am in the flow of what will be…

When I am troubled it is more times than not when I spend time worrying about what others are thinking about me. Then I go about trying to shift and adjust to please them and then, well let’s just say, it ain’t purty.

I love this from the tao te ching by Stephen Mitchell

      Failure is an opportunity.
      If you blame someone else,
there is no end to the blame.

      Therefore the Master
      fulfills her own obligations
      and corrects her own mistakes.
She does what she needs to do
      and demands nothing of others.

I hope your day is a wonderful one CC. This may sound weird but oh well, if we were neighbors, I would give you a hug when we visited. I feel you as a friend.
